FAMILY TIES

How can someone you've born be the same person that you hate so much?

How can just one look, with those surfeiting eyes, tell me all the things I didnt wanna hear?

So quick to judge me, but fail to realize I'm the spitting image of you! From looks to everything on the inside!

You put up a good front, disingenuous as they come, and that only proves how inadequate you feel as a mother to me.

You don't care when I'm sitting in my little corner of a room, listening to all the copious laughs, and good times you openhandedly give the others, and me in those same moments of yours only maim, ending in tears, puddles...

A forlorn wanderer far from my home!

You don't care when I'm sitting in my little corner of a room, listening to the copious laughs, and good times you openhandedly give the others, and me in those same moments only mute and ending in tears, puddles...

Just as I imagined, that same look, which meant similar thoughts were going through your head even if they went unexpressed.

Silence facilitates blame, we'll decide who later....

How can just one look, with those surfeiting eyes, tell me all the things I didn't wanna hear?

In absence of another person's account, the story I invented for myself went unchallenged
